lesson highlights
Logic Pro 8:
Powerful MIDI Creation

With a rock-solid timing engine, exceptional quantization features, and a wealth of MIDI production tools, Logic Pro is the gold standard for creating and editing MIDI-based music. You can edit performance characteristics for each region independently while monitoring the results in real time.
Logic Pro 8:
Optimized Mixer Views

Two new options let you easily see the signal flow routing in the Mixer. In the Arrange view, you can choose a setting – Add Signal Flow Channel Strips – to see not only the channel strips assigned to tracks, but also the auxiliaries and outputs used as send or routing destinations for each track.
Soundtrack Pro 2: Streamlined Multitrack Interface
The streamlined interface of Soundtrack Pro 2 allows editors to work efficiently with pre-existing tools while simultaneously enabling audio professionals to tackle complex projects ad providing powerful integration with Final Cut Studio as well as seamless integration with other applications.
Soundtrack Pro 2: Automatic Audio Conform Process
By taking full advantage of the industry's first integrated audio conform process, you'll be able to synchronize changes from your video, work in Final Cut Pro, and automatically compare the project in Sountrack without having to sort through EDLs or create change lists.
